14th May 2014

Weather: NW 3, 3/8 cloud, 35 miles vis

A few Swallows passed through during the morning and single Wheatear and Whitethroat were seen, the latter on Middle Eye.  A single Greenshank was a nice record and the first for some time.

However, the main focus of the day was on invertebrates with the highlights being the first Small Copper of the year and a pair of Blue-tailed Damselflies along with one teneral stage.
